Eduquest provides coaching programs based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based, third generation cognitive behavioral therapy that is ideally suited for coaching. The ACT works on the basis of six principles:
Acceptance: how do you deal with difficulties and setbacks?
Defusion: how do your thoughts, feelings, and emotions affect your behavior and well-being?
The Self: how do you perceive yourself and the world around you?
Core values: what do you think is really important?
Behavior: how do you act?
Mindfulness: what is your focus on?
